In July 2023, he joined Shanghai Lishan Biomedicine Co., LTD
Dean of Multi-Scale Research Institute of Complex Systems, Fudan University
Postdoctoral Fellow, Department of Chemistry, Harvard University; Ph.D., Boston University; B.S., Department of Chemistry, Fudan University; Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Baylor College of Medicine and Bioengineering, Rice University; Professor, School of Life Sciences, Tsinghua University.
In 2018, as a core member of the Shanghai Peak Talent introduction team, he joined Fudan University and worked with Professor Michael Levitt, Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry, to build the Multi-scale Research Institute for Complex Systems and served as the dean.
His research interests include biophysics, computational biology and structural biology. It is mainly devoted to the development of new computational methods for the study of biological systems to overcome the difficulties in experimental research, and to solve important problems in complex biological systems combined with experimental means. His research is at the forefront and leading position in the field of protein structure and function and protein folding in low and medium precision. His development of multi-scale and multi-precision structural refinement methods involving large-scale motion has greatly advanced the refinement of flexible structure molecules in the fields of X-ray crystal diffraction, cryoelectron microscopy, and fiber diffraction.
